Priority to employment and integration

La Poste makes it easier to keep people over 50 in work (49% of its workforce). It is a signatory to the "Acte d'engagement pour l'emploi des plus de 50 ans" (commitment for the employment of people over 50) supported by Club Landoy. Numerous measures are already in place within the company, ranging from quality of life at work to career development. The Group also relies on its employees to pass on their knowledge and skills, whether as part of the mentoring scheme for young people on sandwich courses or to support employees undergoing professional retraining.

A springboard for work-study students

La Poste also has a dynamic employment policy for young people and is one of the leading players in the field of youth integration.

In 2022, it signed more than 3,000 work-study contracts and took on more than 4,000 trainees, 23% of whom came from priority urban neighbourhoods.

La Poste is investing in dedicated training schemes for work-study students. It relies on CFAs (Centres de Formation en Alternance - work-study training centres), including three of the Group's own business CFAs, known as "Formaposte". These provide training for 60% of work-linked students (from CAP to five years of higher education) in all of the Group's core businesses. Located in 8 regions (Ile-de-France, PACA, Occitanie, Nouvelle Aquitaine, Auvergne-Rhône Alpes, Hauts-de-France, Normandie and Pays de la Loire), these centres give young people access to La Poste's varied professions throughout France.

La Poste is also a partner of the Fondation Innovations pour les Apprentissages (Fipa), which promotes work-linked training in the new data and cyber security professions.
